Request an audition

Auditions for all voice parts for the 2011-2012 season are being scheduled. Any interested adult singer in the Twin Cities region with a musical background may audition.

We are looking for singers who:

• have experience in choral singing
• have the ability to learn music quickly and independently
• can commit to sing for an entire concert season (Sept - May)
• will conscientiously prepare in advance of each rehearsal
• are available to rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:30 p.m.

Auditions are scheduled by appointment, by either filling out the form below, or calling our office at 612-597-5483. The 20-minute audition will include:

• performance of a solo in a foreign language (any genre, e.g. art song, folk song, hymn tune)
• sight singing with a quartet of SIA singers
• range testing
• short interview with audition team
