Singers in Accord welcomes internationally renowned composer and conductor Dr. René Clausen for its fall concert series, “The Music of Living.” The performances will express the beauty of life’s journey through music that illuminates the ideals of hope and thanksgiving, beauty and love, and the blessing of living through all of life’s everyday moments.

Dr. Clausen has created a beautiful program arch that includes music of living, music of the night, and songs from around the world. Among the many stunning choral works and arrangements performed by the 70-voice choir, the program will include compositions by Clausen, Copland, Esenvalds, Kirchener, and Jennings.

Two performances will be held at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights on November 11th and 12th. Both concerts will begin at 4:00 p.m.
